Friendship Order awarded to German organizations, individuals

The decoration was also made to acknowledge their role in strengthening the friendship between Vietnam and Germany. The Germany-Vietnam Association, photographer Thomas Billhardt and documentary director Jurgen Eike were presented with the order at a ceremony held at the Vietnamese Embassy in Germany on September 19. Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Doan Xuan Hung said the Vietnamese State and people treasure the friendship and assistance of foreign organizations and individuals for Vietnam, both during the wartime and in the current national construction cause. He said the Vietnam-Germany relationship is in a good place and wished organizations and German friends will continue making contributions to promoting the strategic partnership between the two countries.
